Focus on Africa Digital Photography Workshop
2 - 14 November 2008

For ten days, we will spend our days focusing on the art and science of the next generation of visual communications – digital photography.

We will begin our day capturing images of Africa’s legendary wildlife on an early morning game drive that usually starts at 6:30AM and ends by 9:00AM. We return to our camp for breakfast followed by a two-hour workshop on six of the twelve days that we are on safari. During the middle of the day, when the animals are resting, we will learn how to improve our shooting technique and enhance our images.

After lunch we will have time to download images and rest. Around 4:00PM we return to “the bush for an afternoon game drive that continues into a night game drive ending around 8:00PM.

On average, we will spend seven hours a day shooting and three hours a day on our computers, of which two hours will be in a classroom setting and one hour will be independant over six days or our eleven days on safari. Our small group size will allow for a great deal of one-on-one time with our instructors.
